What does my tuition cover?

Tuition at our studio covers:

- A weekly reserved time slot with your teacher

- Two flex weeks per semester to make-up up to two missed lessons

- Weekly lesson planning time for your teacher to spend prepping for your lesson, so you get the best quality instruction available

- Administrative support from our remote and in-person admin staff

- A clean, comfortable and welcoming environment to take your lessons

- Two recitals and two group workshops per year

- Clear and consistent communication from our staff

What is the cost of tuition and when is it due?

For Fall and Spring Semester lessons:
- 30 minute lessons = $165/month
- 45 minute lessons = $200/month
- 60 minute lessons = $250/month
- 45-minute Accelerated Piano Program group lessons = $140/month

For our 7-week Summer Session:
- 30 minute lessons = $280 total (or $140/month)
- 45 minute lessons = $350 total (or $175/month)
- 60 minute lessons = $420 total (or $210/month)
- 45-minute Accelerated Piano Program group lessons = $240 total (or $120/month)
- 1-hour Group Workshop = $250 total (or $125/month)

Monthly tuition is due the 1st of each month. If tuition is not paid by the end of the 7th day from when the invoice was received, a $20 late fee will be incurred, and lessons will be suspended until your account is brought current.

Are there make up lessons if our lesson lands on a holiday or we can’t make it to our lesson?

We will not be offering make-up lessons for these occasions, BUT we will have two flex weeks at the end of each semester where you will be able to make-up up to two missed lessons. These flex weeks will take place at the beginning of June and beginning of December.

We also offer any in-person lessons to be switched to online for FREE! (We require at least two hours notice to make this change)

What happens if my teacher is sick or cancels?

We will offer a substitute teacher or reschedule the lesson in this event.

Do you offer any discounts?

We offer a discount for any families who choose to pay monthly that sign up for AutoPay – $10 off per month that you are enrolled in AutoPay!

We also offer a 5% discount off of full semester payments if you opt to pay for the whole semester as opposed to monthly payments.

What is your semester schedule?

We operate on a two semester schedule, similar to school semesters, consisting of 39 total weeks and a separate 7-week summer session. Below are the rough dates for these semesters:

Fall Semester: August - December
17 weeks of lessons, 2 flex weeks beginning of Dec;
off all of Thanksgiving week and two weeks off for Christmas and New Years

Summer Session: June - July
7 weeks of lessons, no flex weeks

Spring Semester: January - May
22 weeks of lessons, 2 flex weeks beginning of June

Do I need to commit to an entire semester, or can my lessons be month-to-month?

All of our lessons are scheduled on a month-to-month basis! All we ask is that if you wish to stop lessons, you must let us know before invoices go out on the 1st of the month so we can remove you from the schedule. Otherwise, you will be responsible for paying for that month of lessons.

If I start or stop lessons in the middle of a month, is that month prorated?

If you start lessons after the middle of the month, we will prorate that first month.

Students are encouraged to stick with lessons for the duration of the semester. We do not offer refunds if you decide to stop lessons in the middle of a month or summer session. We do require that you notify us if you will be pausing/stopping lessons before your invoice goes out on the 1st of the month. If you do not let us know before the 1st of the month, you are still responsible to pay the invoice for that month.
