What does my tuition cover?
Tuition at our studio covers:
- A weekly reserved time slot with your teacher
- FOUR included make up lessons during our quarterly Make Up Weeks
- Weekly lesson planning time for your teacher to spend prepping specifically for YOUR lesson, so you get the best quality instruction available
- Administrative support from our admin staff
- A clean, comfortable and welcoming environment to take your lessons
- Two recitals and two group workshops per year (at no additional charge!)
- Clear and consistent communication from our staff
What is the cost of tuition and when is it due?
Monthly Tuition for:- 30 minute lessons = $165/month
- 45 minute lessons = $200/month
- 60 minute lessons = $250/month
- 45-minute Accelerated Piano Program group lessons = $140/month
Monthly tuition is due the 1st of each month. If tuition is not paid by the end of the 7th day from when the invoice was received, a $20 late fee will be incurred, and lessons will be suspended until your account is brought current.
Are there make up lessons if our lesson lands on a holiday or we can’t make it to our lesson?
We will not be offering make-up lessons or reschedules for one-off cancellations, but we do have FOUR Make Up weeks where you will be able to make up one missed lesson per quarter. These Make Up Weeks will take place in March, June, September, and December, respectively.
We WILL assist in rescheduling any lessons that land on the following holidays:
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- President's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
These holiday reschedules are limited to be moved only within the same week as the holiday. The studio is closed the entire weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years for the holidays and are not included in tuition pricing, and therefore are not eligible for reschedules.
We also offer any in-person lessons to be switched to online for FREE! (We require at least two hours notice to make this change)
What happens if my teacher is sick or cancels?
We will offer a substitute teacher or reschedule the lesson in this event.
Do you offer any discounts?
We offer a discount for any families who choose to pay monthly that sign up for AutoPay – $10 off per month that you are enrolled in AutoPay!
Do I need to commit to an entire semester, or can my lessons be month-to-month?
All of our lessons are scheduled on a month-to-month basis! If you wish to stop lessons, you must let us know before invoices go out on the 1st of the month so we can remove you from the schedule. Otherwise, you will be responsible for paying for that month of lessons.
If I start or stop lessons in the middle of a month, is that month prorated?
If you start lessons after the middle of the month, we will prorate that first month.
Students are encouraged to stick with lessons for the duration of the year. We do not offer refunds if you decide to stop lessons in the middle of a month. We do require that you notify us if you will be pausing/stopping lessons before your invoice goes out on the 1st of the month. If you do not let us know before the 1st of the month, you are still responsible to pay the invoice for that month. We do not offer refunds.
