Piano Playtime: Group Piano for Ages 3.5-5

Piano Playtime is a 45-minute small group class for children ages 3.5 to 5 years old. In these classes, students will learn basic music theory,  basic rhythm patterns, proper technique for playing the piano, and will develop their ear. They will also engage in singing songs together, take part in fun activities and games, practice social communication skills, and improve fine motor skills.

When is it?

Our 12-week Fall Session of Piano Playtime starts the week of September 3rd, and will end the week of November 18th. Sign ups are currently closed for Piano Playtime. We will announce our next schedule for these classes in January 2025!

Fall Session Class Schedule:

• Thursdays 3:00-3:45pm - FULL
• Fridays 12:15-1:00pm - FULL

How much does it cost?

The 12-week session costs $375, and may be split into monthly payments of $125 per month.

Piano Playtime classes are not month-to-month classes. Students must sign up for the entire 12-week class, as each week builds upon what was learned or introduced in the weeks prior. Students starting more than three weeks into the class may feel lost or confused since they did not start the class at the beginning. For this reason, we do not allow new students to join the class beyond the third week of the class.

Is parent participation required?

No, these classes are teacher-student involved only, so no parent participation is required. You may drop your child off for the duration of the class and wait outside of the studio (there is a lovely coffee shop just downstairs, as well as a delicious mexican restaurant!), or you may stay and observe the class from our waiting area that is on one end of our main teaching space where the classes will take place.

If you choose to drop your child off for the duration of the class, we simply ask that you return to pick them up promptly at the time the class ends. :)
